Jelena Jankovic: Semi-finalist - Dubai Open 2011
Jelena Jankovic (#8) reaches her first semi-final this year in the Dubai Open. She lost to eventual champion Caroline Wozniacki. She had two tough three set matches against very competent players, Kanepi and Stosur, and barely edged out the latter in their quarterfinal match. This was her path to the semi-finals -
