Petra Martic (#119) reached her first WTA semifinal this year in Bogota. She lost to eventual champion Lourdes Dominguez Lino in a walkover. This appearance should help her go closer to the Top 100. What's great about this achievement was she had three wins over players ranked much higher than her including a Top 50 player in Polona Hercog. Below was her path to the semi-finals -
