It's amazing that with all the new talent that's in the men's game nowadays, that Roger Federer in his mature age, has managed to stay within striking distance of another grand slam glory. It almost happened in Wimbledon, it may happen again in Flushing Meadows.
As it is, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray seem to be his most tricky opponents but you never know what happens in the six stages before one reaches the finals.
With Federer's victory in Cincinnati, he has shown to the field that he still means business and wants that elusive 18th grand slam title. His potential opponents before reaching the semi-finals may include Kohlschreiber, Isner and Berdych and I think, Roger has a good record against all of them.
