WTA Rankings Watch: Victoria Azarenka Goes to #4, Kvitova Reaches #10
There is some movement inside the WTA Top 10 this week. Victoria Azarenka goes up to #4, the highest ranked Belorussian ever. Natasha Zvereva reached #5 before. There is a long tradition of Czechs in the Top 10 and the latest is Petra Kvitova who jumps from #18 to #10, after winning Madrid.
On a more quiet note, Maria Sharapova, moves to #8 and Samantha Stosur to #7.
In the Top 20, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova moves five places to #16 while Madrid semifinalist, Julia Goerges zooms from #27 to #20.
In the Top 100, Vania King and Sorana Cirstea return to the Top 100.
