ATP Rankings Watch: Nicolas Almagro, Now #9 in the World
Nicolas Almagro moves up to #9 in the ATP Rankings this week. Other notable movements include a 12-notch jump by Hamburg Open champion, Nikolay Davydenko, moving from #40 to #28, putting him inside the seeded group of players - which is important since Roland Garros is just around the corner.
Florian Mayer, runner up in Hamburg, moves five places to #30, also within the seeded group.
Juan Martin Del Potro, the Estoril champion, moves fourteen places from #46 to #32. Pablo Cuevas, a semifinalist in Estoril moves nine places from #61 to #52. Another semifinalist, this time in Hamburg, Radek Stepanek, moves from #67 to #58. The other semifinalist in Hamburg, Philipp Petzschner, moves from #76 to #69.
