Roger Federer: Semifinalist in Madrid
It's been a bit of a quiet year for Roger Federer (#3) and his clay court season has been a quarterfinal appearance in Monaco and a semifinal in Madrid. Even then, it still puts him at #4 among the leading clay courters this season, so we can't count him out for Roland Garros next week. He lost to Rafa here. This was his path to the semi's -
