Wimbledon 2015: Serena Halfway Through A True Grand Slam

Serena has just won the Australian and the French Open, so the idea of her winning Wimbledon this year seems very appealing as it would allow her to finally get a true grand slam (she has done it before but not in one specific year).

Problem is, Serena has lost in the earlier rounds the past two Wimbledons to players who were not even in the top 10 and just had a better day in the office than her.  To make matters most challenging, she is in a very tough draw!  There are five grand slam champions on her side, which includes her sister Venus, Francesca Schiavone, Victoria Azarenka, and Ana Ivanovic.

There is a possible match-up between her and sister Venus as well.  However, I pick Victoria Azarenka as her most likely biggest challenge.  All three women - Venus, Victoria and Ana - also have won over her before - so Serena has to watch her back to make sure she reaches the finals.
