Michelle Larcher De Brito: Player Ranked Outside the Top 100 Who Reached the Third Round of the 2013 Wimbledon

Michelle Larcher de Brito of Puerto Rico, reached the second round of the 2013 Wimbledon, by defeating American Melanie Oudin (#123) 76(7) 16 64.  She then outclassed Wimbledon champion Maria Sharapova in the second round 63 64.  She has reached as far as the third round of the French Open.  She will next meet German player Karin Knapp (#104) in the third round.
