Petra Kvitova (#28), reaches her first Australian Open quarterfinal this year. She was a Wimbledon semifinalist last year and quickly follows that achievement with this one. She, however, lost today to Vera Zvonareva. It would be interesting to see how Petra plays this year as she gains more and more experience on the Grand Slam stage.
