WTA Brisbane International: Fearless Semi-final Predictions
With the quarterfinal match-ups all finished today, Marion Bartoli of France becomes the favorite now, at least on paper, to win the title. Well, here's my fearless prediction for the possible semi-final match-ups for this tournament -
First Semifinal: Jarmila Groth (AUS) (#42) vs. Marion Bartoli (FRA) (#16)
Groth may face some stiff competition from Petkovic but should be able to win it in 3.
Bartoli should have no problems with Strycova.
Second Semifinal: Dominika Cibulkova (SVK) (#31) vs. Lucie Safarova (CZE) (#33)
Cibulkova will surely have a fight with Kvitova, but should win in 3. Safarova too, will have her hands full with Pavlyuchenkova, but should win also, in 3.
