Jan Hernych of the Czech Republic, had to qualify to get into the main draw of the Australian Open. He is currently ranked #241. He upset Denis Istomin 63 64 36 62 in the first round. Then, he upsets Thomaz Bellucci of Brazil in the second round 62 67(11) 64 67(3) 86. In the third round, he will meet one of the elite players in men's tennis today - Robin Soderling.
