Edouard Roger-Vasselin, currently ranked #186, has been trying to qualify in a grand slam since Wimbledon last year but has failed to till this 2016 Wimbledon.
However, he not only qualifies here, he gets to the second round of this slam for the third time. He won over Russian Teymuraz Gabashvili 16 63 64 64 in the first round. He reached the third round once in 2007.
He lost to David Goffin (#11) of Belgium in the second round 64 60 63.
