US OPEN 2010: Male Players Who Reached the Second Round But are not in the Top 100

This list features three players coming from the upper half of the bottom draw.  These are the male players who made it to the second round of the US Open 2010 but are currently ranked outside the Top 100.  They are:

1.  Igor Andreev of Russia, currently ranked # 121, a former Top 100 player, Andreev won handily over Zeballos of Argentina, 6-4, 4-6, 7-6, 6-3.  He is set to meet Gael Monfils, the # 17 seed in the second round.  This should be the farthest he should reach in the draw.

2. Peter Polansky of Canada, currently ranked #205, disposed Juan Monaco of Argentina, the #30 seed, 6-2, 7-6, 6-3. Impressive since the guy was a seeded player!  His next opponent is a difficult one because James Blake will surely be a crowd favorite.

3.  Incidentally, James Blake, is also included in the list, because he is currently ranked # 108.  Blake should reach the the 3rd round where he may meet Djokovic.  That should the farthest Blake can reach in this draw.  But it's good he's playing well again, and should be back in the Top 100 soon!
