I am so happy to see Kim in good form again just a week before the US Open, although I admit, her ankle injury and loss to Zvonareva in Montreal a little bit of a worry. Anyhow, I chose her as this week's player to watch since she handily defeated Maria Sharapova in this week's Cincinnati Open! Never easy to defeat Maria but Kim really did well in coming back to win the title. She is still one of my favorites to win this year's US Open titel though.
