These past two years have been very quiet for Venus Williams. I certainly missed her - and her below par performances in the Grand Slams have begged the question - is she going to retirement - especially when that news of that disease broke out. But gauging from her performance here in Luxembourg, it looks like she still has that desire to win - and even if the scorelines of her matches show how fast the competition has closed in - it's still great to see Venus power herself into a title, now for the 44th time!
