2011's #3 Player - Roger Federer
Even at #3, Roger Federer is still a force to reckon with. He opened 2011 with the Doha title and then reached the semifinals of Melbourne. He reached the finals of Roland Garros but lost to Nadal. Then in one of those rare moments, he only reached the quarterfinals of Wimbledon, losing again to Tsonga. In the US Open, he lost in the semifinals to Novak Djokovic. He ended the year with a big bang, winning Basel and Paris, then went on to win for a record sixth time, the ATP World Tour finals, proving again to doomsayers that he still has what it takes to win that 17th Grand Slam title.
