Since she reached the quarterfinals in Wimbledon a few years back, I have already been a fan of Sabine Lisicki. Unfortunately, because of some injury problems, her progress has been held back and she fell out of the Top 100. However, this week, she storms through the Birmingham Open, winning the title itself, and on the way, had wins over veteran Daniela Hantuchova and upcoming Chinese player Peng Shuai. I am excited now to find out how she does in Wimbledon and she, being a dangerous floater in the draw, should hopefully, not meet one of the top seeds in the first round. Anyhow, even if she did, she might just have a win over them!
