Fearless Forecast Australian Open 2012: Top Lower Draw
Roger Federer should be very hungry now to get back into the Grand Slam boards after missing all the four titles in 2011 - and the draw that he got should help him achieve it! His prospective opponents include Jurgen Melzer (AUT) (#33) and Alex Dolgopolov (UKR) (#14) and his most likely quarterfinal opponent should be Juan Martin Del Potro (ARG) (#11), another player who, I'm sure, is hungry again to reach the upper echelons of the men's rankings - and the Australian Open is the perfect place to stage a comeback! However, I still choose Federer to be the one among the players on this side of the draw to reach the semifinals.
