It's always exciting for the home country to have a homegrown player do well in a local tournament. This week, Nadia Lalami of Morocco has reached the quarterfinals of the tournament here in Fes, defeating Top 20 player, Aravane Rezai today, that's why everyone is making notice of her performance. She is currently ranked #497 in the world.
