Caroline, Jelena and Dinara. All number 1 players with no Grand Slam title credentials. I think the women's tour should really adopt how the men's tour ranks their players. The truth is, you'd have to defeat Venus and Serena in a Grand Slam just to be able to win the title, and that's not an easy thing to do. In the men's side, it's been a revolving door between Roger and Rafa - as it should since they're pretty consistent in the Slams. What the fans of the women's game are asking, is a clearer picture of achievement, especially in the major events. It's really rather comedic for a #1 player not to have a Grand Slam title - or be whacked by Serena off the court! It kinda trivializes and cheapens the #1 position, don't you think?
