Ranked at #450 entering the Bucharest Open, nobody expected Hungarian Attila Balazs to go as deep as the semifinals - but yes he did, defeating players ranked much much higher than him - Xavier Malisse, Potito Starace and Lukas Lacko. He lost to Fabio Fognini though, in the semi's. Even then, he is the only bearer for Hungarian men's tennis right now and he hopes to make it into the Top 150 by the end of the year. He is now playing Estoril right now, so let's see how he does there.
