Mariana Duque-Marino: Player Ranked Outside the Top 100 Who Reached the Second Round of the 201 Wimbledon

Mariana Duque-Marino of Colombia (#117) won her first round match against Julia Goerges of Germany (#36), 64 67(3) 75.  She reached as high as #94 and it's the first time she reached the second round of this grand slam.  She will next meet local favorite Laura Robson (#38) in the second roun.
